Rati Patchouli

Rati Patchouli opens with top notes of pink pepper and a soft, musky, warm, and slightly floral ambrette. Known for its aphrodisiac properties, ambrette brings a warm radiance, slightly nutty, soft skin-like sensual accords. The fruity aspect chimes with the davana in the heart of this perfume.

Davana, deeply rooted in Ayurveda, has a dried apricot character, slightly liquorice with warm hay and boozy resinous accords. Its warmth and complexity add harmony and depth to the fleshy tropical fruity mango and peach. These cheeky, fleshy notes chosen by perfumer Tanguay Guesnet were selected for their slightly edible and cheeky carnality.

The hero running through the perfume is the complex Patchouli Heart No3. A famous aphrodisiac, it has a clean and camphorous top with a dark fruity twist. Its powerful woody and slightly earthy animalic undertones bring longevity and perfect harmony with the creamy woody sandalwood. Finally the ambroxan and soft musks give the perfume an intimate glow and radiance, barely there but lingering sweetness and subtle saltiness, like warm skin anticipating a kiss…
